Authentically of the place

We lived on a Government-owned research farm on Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu for nearly 2 years. They grew cacoa and hosted a week-long chocolate-making course with a global guru from Hawai leading it. When the course ended, guru Nat, my wife and a few others walked up to our cottage with some samples he had made from Vanuatu cacoa. Subsequently, my wife laid her hands on a conch and made some crude chocolate from beans from the farm. The flavours from Nat's and Louise's are there in the sophisticated OCHO Vanuatu bars, totally authentic and always takes us back to that farm on Santo. Our favourite chocolate on earth!

Not too bad

I find Ocho chocolate sometimes little rough around the edges in comparison to other bean to bar brands. Also with the recent significant price increase it's not the same value for money as it used to be. And I would love to see higher percentage bars back (~85%).
